ready or not, here I come...
again to seek after you
to find you in your hiding place
and there I can rescue you
from the pain and heartache of loneliness
the hurt and tears of brokenness
which haunt you in your sleep
turning dreams into nightmares
hoping that your reality is just a temporary problem
but for now it seems
that you must endure the abuse
manifesting in late night visits
and in the closet "lets play house" games
making you feel guilty inside
dirty outside and within
sickening to the stomach
wishing the thoughts would leave your memory

you try to hide your pain in the bedroom
lying in the arms of strange men
running towards the very things that used to chase you in your childhood
you try to cover your depression with forced laughter and fake smiles
all the while
denying that you're dying inside
you've cried and cried
and no one has heard those silent screams
you've tried and tried
and no yet has anyone understood
what you mean....
when you say "I don't know"
to their questions of "why this" and "why that"

Hell, why are you asking me things
like you actually care?
Trying to understand my childhood hurts when you were never there...
to comfort me without having to know what happened in secret to me
and even to you too!!

I know why, its because you are scared like I was
afraid to be totally truthful about the perversions that were experienced

So here I stand with memories of being misused and abused
neglected and rejected
talk about and laughted at
why....
that I may heal those who've been hurt as I have
to comfort them with the comfort I've received from Christ Jesus
because God is planning to give me an expected end.

Showing me that He thinks thoughts of good and not of evil
and for His undying love towards me, even though I feel no one loves me

You see, I'm proof that bad things happen to unsuspecting people...
BUT God in His mercy and grace has shown me His love and dedication

and has found me...to set me free from my lost situation.

Nuff said!
